Rene A. Santos

Chief Executive Officer

More than twenty (20) years of extensive exposures in the oil/gas and business consulting industries within the Middle East and African countries. Rene’s appointment as the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of the MANAKH Drilling & Associates is to manage and overall responsibility to oversee and develop the company’s general affairs both local and international.

Prior joining MANAKH, he was associated with different multi-diversified organizations; as General Manager - Eastern Trading & Maintenance Company, Vice President – JS Petroleum, Managing Director – Quality Business Consulting, General Manager – Hanchi International, and as Director, Business/Operations Affairs - KAB Rig Movers.

His corporate skills of leadership and associations with international contractors and manufacturers credited in forming the so-called consortium group of experts within the oil and gas industry. And his length of exposures in the Middle East and African countries developed understanding and dealings with various companies of different entities and cultural background has added value to his business development credentials through affiliation and association in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman, Algeria, Nigeria, Libya, and Sudan.

Engr. Hassan Syed

Director, International Affairs

Engr. Hassan Syed being the Director of International Affairs is responsible for representing Manakh Drilling & Associates positions before international trade institutions and other international companies His more than 10 years dealing internationally has contributed in the establishment of the company’s affiliation and association within the GCC & African countries in working collaboration with the local entities and Government Affairs, Policy, and Regulatory Affairs.

He help develop and advocate industry positions on international issues and international trade policy, as well as monitor and report on all international issues impacting the oil and gas industry. His more than 10 years exposure in the international arena and dealings with various companies contributed and gives strength to our position in the market.

Mahmoud Khalifa

Finance / Administration Manager

Overseeing end-to-end finance and administration operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, knowledgeable in accounting and finance standard procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects.

His nearly 10 years’ experience in finance, technical skills include an array of knowledge topics that include computing abilities, quantitative analysis, and various financial market forecasting techniques. This financial background and exposure in administration protocol has greatly contributed to the company’s management organization.

Gil M. Quizon

Maint. /Logistics Manager

More than 25 years’ experience with extensive exposures in various types of logistics organization in Saudi Arabia. His major responsibilities to fully organize the company’s assets and logistics facilities, establish efficiency in both operations and capacity.

Proper scheduling of all facilities maintenance such as; warehouse, yard, maintenance yard, camp, equipment, tools, and transportation. Managing information movements of all assets, stocks, deliveries, mobilization, and demobilization control process and monitoring process flows and well experience in various logistics and supply chain management with familiarity.

Engr. Sohail Ahmad Ammair

Project Manager

More than 5 years exposures managing and coordinate a large project working to ensure the implementation of every project execution are properly observes and to improve environmental safeguards, conduct due diligence and facilitate collaborative in projects among the stake holders.

Coordinate the preparation of collaborative project plans, contracts, reporting and provide support with their on-going implementation and management. Manage project consultants ensuring timely achievement of expected deliverables, facilitate development and application of best practice standards procedures, and assist business partners by providing technical advice to operations.

Anas Al Shahir

HR Officer

Responsible to administer the entire HR department an important part of the organization. He is the link between the organization's various departments and the employees ensure the smooth flow of information and implementation of the company’s policies.

His more than 5 years’ experience in administration function strengthens our company’s employees – employer relationship and dealing with various government agencies.

Sam S. Santos

IT Administrator

Over 5 years of extensive exposures in software and hardware development. He is responsible for the hardware and software within the organization and overseeing updates and system testing, creating internal information system procedures, planning and implementing IT projects, ensuring data security, and overseeing website development.

Hosam Essam

Procurement Officer

He is responsible to implement the procurement policy and guidelines in the implementing an accurate and effective for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality, conduct an internal needs analysis, assessment of the supplier's market, collect supplier information, and develop a sourcing/outsourcing strategy, implement the sourcing strategy, negotiate with suppliers and select the winning bid.
