Our core expertise is the development of remote monitoring systems for utilities – and we work with some of the world’s biggest oil, gas and petrochemical companies. Our instrumentation helps improve the efficiency of their fuel distribution networks by providing demonstrable asset management, safety, economic, environmental and compliance benefits, provide equipment and engineering services for the cathodic protection of pipelines, storage tanks, well casings, and marine structures for the oil, gas, petrochemical, water and power industries.

Our engineers will work with clients to design the most appropriate and cost-effective cathodic protection solution for any project. Working to a client's brief and to internationally recognized standards, we will ensure that the end result surpasses expectations.

As part of its service, we are happy to work with main contractors in the installation of cathodic protection systems. It is usual for main contractors to retain overall control of any construction or installation work. However, certain types of project, such as remedial or after-market cathodic protection systems, require CPCL to actively take the role of installers of the system. Our team of NACE and ICorr qualified engineers are well equipped to install our CP systems to specific projects, thus providing a complete service to our clients.

Project Management

The success of any cathodic protection project depends on effective management. To this end, CPCL undertakes management of all aspects of a project, from site investigations through to design, materials supply, installation, commissioning, system handover and post-project support.
